For teens and young adults, a key component of group therapy is realizing that there are others facing and overcoming issues similar to your own. For those struggling with substance abuse, the Substance Independence Group serves as a social circle and a place to learn from the experiences of others. In this 10-week workshop, participants will gain knowledge and receive support in a number of areas, such as grief, loss, trauma, anger management, art therapy, nutrition, relationship skills, and relapse prevention — allowing for a more comprehensive recovery.
