Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Dr. Antonella Graña is a double-board certified Nurse Practitioner who specializes in both Psychiatric Mental Health and in Pediatrics. Dr. Graña offers care for children and adolescents in a wide range of attention and behavioral disorder diagnoses including ADHD, oppositional/defiant behavior disorders, conduct disorders, anxiety, and developmental disabilities.

Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Graña worked with Florida International University’s Center for Children and Families as a clinical research nurse and was involved in research in ADHD and substance use from 2014-2017. She also worked at the University of Miami’s Hussmann Institute for Human Genomics in studies relating to genetics, autism, and Alzheimer’s disease from 2017-2019.  Particular areas of interest in research for Ms. Graña include disparities in healthcare for people within BIPOC communities, and improving access. Her doctoral dissertation was on increasing cultural competency for doctors and therapists in the practice of mental healthcare.

Dr. Graña was conferred her Doctorate in Nursing Practice by Florida International University in 2021. She also holds a Master’s of Science in Nursing, also from FIU, and is certified as a Nurse Practitioner though the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB).

Ms. Graña is bilingual and provides services in English and Spanish.
